| Job Description: |
The Operations trade processing team provides operational support to Trading desks and has responsibility for timely and efficient allocation, confirmation and settlement of spot, forward, options, and derivatives products. Additionally, the team aggressively manages business relationships to maximize efficiencies, control, and operational solutions for internal and external clients.
We are looking for a highly energetic and motivated Analyst to join the Trade Processing - Client team. The successful candidate will assimilate quickly into the team and gain a quick understanding of our business, our clients and operational/technology flows. The control and efficiency minded candidate will utilize a broad array of skills to contribute to daily trade processing and reporting goals and recommend process improvement within the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform transaction trade processing functions to include allocation, confirmation and settlement activities for the US Corporate, Sales desks
- Timely research, investigation and resolution of trade discrepancies and breaks
- Assist with the retrieval of outgoing contract correspondence
- Learn and implement automated trade processing solutions to increase daily efficiencies
- Effectively escalate client, trading, sales, and operational issues related to the business
- Identify, drive, and implement process improvement initiatives
- Improve existing operational policies, procedures and controls
Experience/Skills:
- Self-motivated, results driven individual with 1 - 3 years experience in operations, process management, process improvement, control, or consulting with a best in class organization preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills with strong ability to work across a wide network of teams and clients to achieve goals within deadlines
- Keen analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous client service experience
- Prior FX, derivatives, prime brokerage, and/or hedge fund operations experience is preferred
