| Job Description: |
A well established Emergency lighting manufacturing company based at Hersham Surrey area is now looking for a talented Electronics Engineer to add to its expanding their R&D development team.
With a degree in an Electronic discipline you will have at least 3 years experience in a relevant position. You must have a background in a fast moving product environment and should also be familiar with of power electronics specially inverters and power supply. You must be friendly in using Outlook, Excel, Word and the Internet.

Skills:
- Experience as Test/Development Engineer within an Electronics / Software environment
- Managed the testing activities of at least 2 development projects throughout the full development lifecycle
- Exposure to Test Automation
- Power electronics (uninterrupted power supplies)
- experience of analogue, digital and board level design
- Good knowledge in electronic power supplies and chargers, AC/DC inverters.
- To monitor and trouble-shoot relevant production work from start to finish.
- The ability to design at circuit/board level and getting the finished design into manufacture.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support on existing products to customers and suppliers
- Develop and implement cost reduction opportunities
- Responsible for New Product Implementation from generating specifications until ok to ship in collaboration with Marketing, Sourcing, Production and Quality
- Approach problems systematically and with a high level of professionalism
