Offshore Structural Engineers
Responsibilities:
Perform structural static and dynamic design to relevant International Standards and client’s specifications
Technical supervision of project designated structural engineers, designers and drafters in the execution of their duties.
Benchmark structural design/drafting to identify areas of improvements, work within the provisions and guidelines of the quality management system relevant to projects
Hands on experience in the areas of dynamic loading and resistance, collapse analysis, fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, reliability based analysis.
Project design submission and review compliance with the applicable design codes, standards and clients requirements
Familiar with FPSO construction practice, method statements and safety procedures, preparation of proposals and technical specifications
Quality Assurance; witness site works test and inspection, working within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Quality Assurance system
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Minimum 8 years’ design experience in design of FPSO topsides, offshore structures and detailed design of FPSO/Offshore Process Platforms.
Proficient with offshore structural design codes, analysis software: such asCaesar II pipe stress analysis software, Autopipe, PSA5 and ADLPipe..
Engineers will need ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team on major oil & gas offshore platform projects.
To being considered for these roles you will need to demonstrate previous project teamwork abilities and experience in FPSO`s, offshore platforms; pipelines, petrochemical or refineries.
Must be fluent in English both spoken and written: computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite. |
