Group Financial Controller
Based:Dubai
Our client, a start-up privately held Group of companies who are in the business of distribution of leading brands of consumer durables and home appliances in Africa are looking for a top-notch finance professional to help them deliver their ambitious business plans.
You will closely work with the Managing director to ensure that the organization is transformed from a relatively small set-up into a mid-sized professional operation in a fairly short period of time. Given that this is largely a start-up operation, you must demonstrate complete command in the area of setting up internal financial systems and processes, internal controls and budgetary performance. Apart for the above , you will need to prepare accounts and reconcile balance sheets, oversee budgetary control, monitor cash flows, assess financial implications of new or existing projects, participate in strategic planning and long –term business plans, analyze change and risk assessment.

| Skills Required: |
To qualify, you must be a certified CA/CPA having a minimum of 10 years of post qualification experience, with about 3 years of experience in UAE with familiarity with GAPP, SOXX software and accounting packages. Willing to travel frequently to Africa at-least in the first year till operations are set-up and streamlined. |
