Financial Analyst
Summary of Job
Assist in the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reports and performance summary, ensuring that they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Assist in the preparation of Quarterly rolling forecasts to the performance advisory team.
Develop new and streamline existing processes and systems as required to ensure more efficient delivery of value add information to both internal and external stakeholders.
Creation of new reports as required using a report writing tool
Provision of financial information including Actual V’s Budget to Regional Financial Controllers.
Be an effective team player who will drive efficiency and continuous improvement by assisting in new projects
Essential Functions
1. Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner:
2. Preparation, analysis and posting of journals at month end;
3. Preparation and analysis of monthly regional P&L’s;
4. Preparation and analysis of monthly regional OPEX reports;
5. Provide financial information to Regional financial controllers and other departments as required.
6. Reconciliation of other reporting tools to the General Ledger.
7. Development of country P&L’s
8. Creation of new reports as required using reporting tool.
9. Enhancement of existing processes and development of new ones to ensure the most efficient completion of duties.
10. Provision of technical expertise, support and guidance to the performance advisory group.
11. Promote team work within the group.
12. Develop relationships with both internal and external customers.
13. Liaise efficiently with corporate and with the other subsidiaries throughout the world.
Secondary Functions
a. Provide training and support where possible to the Finance team in Galway and to the Performance & advisory team in France and across Europe.
b. Ensure that the internal control environment is operating as intended and that any improvements are implemented in a timely fashion
c. Provide assistance to the worldwide finance organization where required.
d. Other duties & projects as assigned by the performance advisory team.
e. Other ad hoc projects as required
Ad hoc travel to France may be required

| Skills Required: |
Qualifications
ACCA/ACAQualified
2-3 Years PQE
Knowledge and Skills Required
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products is essential including Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio and PowerPoint. Highly developed analytical skills Logical, systematic thinking, high intellectual ability |
