| Job Description: |
The purpose of the role is to test electrical rotating machines motors and generators to meet customers and engineering specifications. This position is based within the Electrical Machines Test Department based in Rugby.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Evaluate requirements for testing
Arrange the layout of machines for testing
Arrange drivers/supplies cable
Check for safe condition to run
Carry out tests as per procedures
Monitor M/C on test
Hand over in safe condition for removal from Test
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Responsible for self and others
To cooperate fully with all safe working practices
Contribute to the implementation of such practices when necessary

Skills Required:: |
The ideal candidate will have an apprenticeship, a HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with substantial experience in a similar role.
Personal Attributes
