| Job Description: |
Construction Coordinator
The Construction Coordinator reports to the Major Projects Construction Manager and assists in the administration and management of the Major Projects Construction Department. Special responsibilities and duties include the following:
1. Assists in the development and maintenance of Departmental staffing and assignment plans.
2. Ensures that Departmental Administrative systems and reporting requirements are developed and maintained.
3. Develops Departmental policies and procedures.
4. Assist in the pre-contract and pre-construction phases of projects to ensure inclusions of construction requirements.
5. Assists in monitoring projects to ensure compliance with Departmental and Client policies, procedures and guidelines.
6. Assists in the coordination of construction requirements with other program departments and sections.
7. Performs liaison between field construction management teams and Project Management / Engineering and Purchasing as required.
8. Assists in coordination of interfaces between construction projects as necessary.
9. Assumes responsibilities of Major Projects Construction Manager during his absence as directed.
