| Job Description: |
Site Engineer
The Site Engineer reports to the Lead Construction Engineer and performs the following functions:
1. Receives and issues all approved construction drawings and specifications; and ensures outdated drawings are properly disposed.
2. Initiates and maintains a complete record of field change orders, back charges, and other documents.
3. Prepares the daily log for the daily force report.
4. Maintains all technical reports and files, including any documentation for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes and similar requirements.
5. Obtains as-built drawings from the contractor and maintain files for the drawings.
6. Assumes duties of other Construction Specialists in their absence, at the direction of the Lead Construction Engineer.
7. Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Lead Construction Engineer in his absence as directed.
