Constructibility Engineer
The Constructibility Engineer reports to the QC Manager and coordinates with project and design as well as construction management. Among his responsibilities are the following:
1. Performs direct coordination and support of engineering during the design phases of the work to ensure field constructibility of the completed designs, particularly on re-vamp or modification of existing plants and facilities.
2. Assists in verifications of field as-built conditions as requested.
3. Advises Engineering on construction methods and materials applications and standardization.
4. Assists in area classification analysis.
5. Reviews design for hazard identification and makes recommendations for changes to eliminate or control any found. The necessary advisements will be made to cognizant project and construction management.
6. Supports liaison requirements between the field and the design office as requested.
7. Assists in assessment of, and provision for, contractor offices (including construction management requirements), laydown and classification areas.
8. Prepares assessment of construction utility sizing and requirements.
9. Assists in drawing packaging as necessary to support pre-contract efforts.
