This is an amazing opportunity to teach ESL (English As A Second Language) in the public schools in Seoul, South Korea through the National Ministry of Education. And guess what? You don't have to have your teaching certification - just a bachelor's degree is necessary! These positions only come along twice a year and they are the most stable and prestigious ones in South Korea! Not only will you fly out and be trained with other ESL teachers, but once at your school you will also be assigned a Korean co-teacher to assist you in the classroom and to help you plan lessons and manage the class.
Start Date: August 22, 2008
Contract Duration: 1 year
Salary: from 1.8-2.5 Million Korean Won ($1,900- 2,640 US/month)
Bonus: 1 month salary as a bonus at the end of the contract
Housing: Free furnished apartment
Airfare: Round-Trip Airfare
Medical: Provided
Vacation: 2 weeks plus national holidays
Schedule: Monday to Friday (22 teaching hours)
