Excellent career opportunities exist for experienced Mining Surveyors.
This organisation provides a range of services including drill and blast, load and haul, screening, material storage and handling and ship loading. With major clients such as Woodside, Rio Tinto and BHP; the rate of growth of this organisation is reflected in the number and size of projects they are winning.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Establish survey controls as required for setting out and verification of the works.
Verify that the works comply with specified requirements
Liaise with the client representative on survey matters as defined by the Senior Surveyor/Project Plan
Ensure equipment is serviced and calibrated
Carry out dewatering monitoring in accordance with requirements of the contract
Produce drill plots and data files for both the client and the drill and blast contractor.
Ideal candidates will have:
Business administration qualification and experience.
Display confidence with written and verbal communications.
Awareness and understanding of EH&S practices.
Ability to communicate at all levels with strong organisational skills and negotiation skills
Good organisational and numeracy skills.
Innovative self-starter and the ability to work unsupervised.
Display attention to detail, problem solving attributes, and ability to work under pressure.
