Company Description: a small technology company that develops products for the telecom industry and has about 20-25 employees.
The Senior Software Engineer will play a leading role designing & developing Company's high performance, scalable management middleware products and next generation distributed performance management software in C/ C++.
- experienced in high performance real time application development, database and web services technologies.
- Previous work in a telecommunications focused environment is highly desirable
- A track record of successful design and implementation is essential.
Responsibilities:
Participation in definition of software architecture, module level design, implementation and unit test. Domain expert in SOA, scaleable system architecture, application performance tuning and security.

Required Skills:
General experience:
- 10 years+ experience developing real-time or transaction oriented server based applications
- 3 years+ in a hands-on formal or informal team lead role
- 2 years+ with project management responsibility
Technology experience:
- 10 years+ experience with C essential, C++ experience useful
- 5 years+ experience with SQL, XML, XSLT
- 3 years+ experience with Java
- 3 years+ experience with SOA, SOAP/XML, XML-RPC
- 3 years+ experience with Linux, Apache
- 2 years+ experience with SSL, SSO, Kerberos
