Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director the incumbent will be required to develop and head the planning efforts for the companies within the group.He/She will aslo assist in planning for procurement , finance , design & project management, .
Responsibilities
„« Must be a professional user of Primavera Project Planner (P3), Expedition (Contract Control & Claims) and other Project Management softwares.
Will be responsible for the development and implementation of Project Control Systems and MIS,development of master, design, procurement and material submittal schedules, construction,resource analysis, cost control techniques, cash flow requirements,reporting and contingency planning.
„« Contract administration through its main four items (committed and budgeted contracts, shop drawing and submittals, requisitions and change management) by means of good knowledge of FIDIC, International standards, contract conditions and latest computerized project control software will also form an important part of responsibilities.
„« Preparing & monitoring cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects.
„« Budgetary control by preparing detailed cost plans and estimates,lists of items ,producing bills of quantities for tendering .
„« Regular consultations with architects, builders and engineers.
„« Cost of alterations to existing buildings or structures, on various materials and construction methods, and on alternative contractual procedures and clauses to be advised by the incumbent.
„« Will be required to make good use of and even teach subordinates to use designing software such as ANSYS, COSMOS/M, SAP-Nonlinear etc.
Desired Profile: The Incumbent must be a Civil Engineer or Bachelore in Construction Management, with over 15 years of post qualification, relevant experience in the construction industry.Experience in planning of Highrise Construction is a MUST.Should have excellent knowledge of Primavera and other Project Management Softwares.Candidates, who are natives from US/UK/Australia/South Africa/Canada and having experience in the Middle East or willing to relocate to the UAE are also encouraged to apply. Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate. |
