| Job Description: |
This leading Organisation's Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services invites suitable candidates for the post of Anaesthesia Supervisor:
1. Manages the technical side of the department of Anaesthesia.
As Such, is in charge of all Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists in the five Hospitals (60 Technologists and Technicians, > 35,000 Anesthetics per year)
2. Reports directly to the Chairman of Anesthesia
3. Communicates regularly and efficiently with the Consultants in Charge in each hospital.
Duties:
o Develop and implements Policies and Procedures
o Conducts prospective personnel evaluation and new employee training
o Is in charge of scheduling the anesthesia technical staff
o Supervises supply evaluation and acquisitions
o Is in charge of Quality improvement, Safety and Infection Control
o Supervises equipment maintenance and servicing
o Reacts to changes productively and handles other essential tasks as assigned
Qualifications - Profile
* Anesthesia Technician/Operating Department Practitioner (Anesthesia) or equivalent (not nursing or Medical)
* Twelve years of experience with at least three in a managerial position
* License/Membership of Board/Society of Specialty
* Assumes responsibility for own professional growth: Essential
* Arabic Language Skills: Beneficial
* English Language skills: Essential
* Computer skills: Essential
