| Job Description: |
You are responsible for and will take charge of the interaction design and functional specifications of our modules and features, system wide. Together with our development team and the project manager, you will control all aspects of the Sightwinder functional methodology and user experience. Your ability to think and communicate on a conceptual level enables you to model a clear and rich feature-set. As a quality manager, you will work closely with our test department to review and validate the module development. Both by internal review as well as external customer panel reviews.
You will work in close cooperation with the team leaders of the core and module teams. You will be supported in your daily tasks by a user interface (graphic) designer. You report directly to the project manager in charge of product development. Our management method is team and cooperation based, we value the input of any team member and stimulate internal discussion.
Job responsibilities
• Create functional concepts for features
• Create interaction models for functions and features throughout the system
• Maintain control over the core business concepts of the system
• Assure that the business concepts are matured in the functional module layer
• Write and validate business requirements on functional / conceptual level
• Quality control over the user interface
• Quality control over functional behaviour of the platform
• Participating in the solution designs and solution discussions
• Communication with the team leaders
• Communication with the board of directors on the product development
Your profile
• You can think conceptually
• You can translate concepts into pragmatic and user friendly functions and features
• Proven track record as a functional architect in a software product development team
• Proven track record in interaction / GUI design for online products
• Long standing experience with web based solutions
• You have a keen understanding of the internet and online solutions
• Experience with content management systems / online marketing tools
• Chinese candidates: perfect oral and/or writing skills in Mandarin, good oral and writing skills in either English or Dutch
• European / International candidates: perfect oral and writing skills in either English or Dutch (native speaker preferred), good oral and/or writing skills in Mandarin are a big bonus. Otherwise, willing to learn mandarin within a short period.
• You are pro-active and a good communicator
• Willing to travel abroad (Europe / China)
