| Job Description: |
· Supervision and control of manpower, Organize and supervise all types of rigging activities associated with maintenance such as removal and replacement of pumps, engines, electric motors, heavy rotors, coolers, condensers and the like.
Supervisor and implement scaffolding and work at the plant site in compliance with all safety regulations and code of practice.
Erecting scaffolding and guiding and crane operator.
Carry out maintenance work on rigging equipment.
Assist in conduction rigging studies for heavy lifts.
Planned allocated work of subordinate staff.
Assist in keeping records of rigging and scaffolding section.
Estimate weights of loads to be removed and determine rigging procedure including selection of suitable chains, slings, shackles and the like.
He must ensure and enforce good house keeping is done his areas of responsibility

Skills Required:: |
Qualification: B.Sc. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience in rigging of large equipment in refinery of petrochemical.
Thorough knowledge of all rigging tools, equipment and their limitations.
Capable of preparing sketches of rigging.
Able to speak, read and write English.
Experience in carrying out safe scaffolding at high elevations.
Basic Computer skills.
