Position: Store Manager

Occupational Summary:
To manage all aspects of retail sales in the sales departments. To drive sales and profit contribution

Work Performed:
Deliver exemplary customer service
Organises manpower planning to cover all business requirements
Train and develop all shop floor staff through performance management, appraisals, coaching, training
And career progression
Involvement, coaching and delegation of sales team leaders and teams
Deals with any customer complaints quickly and efficiently
Ensure that all business dress guidelines are followed
Taking part in initiatives, working groups across all functions
Liaison with Buying to ensure clear understanding of buying vision and strategy
Communicate daily with Operation manager in regard of departmental financial achievement,product
Activities and/or overall store issues.
Manage in]house ordering to ensure consistent stock level throughout the store
Recommends deletions / assortment changes to the Buyers
Ensure all till cashing up and administration processes are followed and correct
Ensures that appropriate security measures are followed
Adhere to layout and ticketing guidelines
Works with VM on shop floor presentation
Merchandise the assortment in a way that delights our customers
Reflect design / lifestyle trends in stock presentation
Monitor standard of product and ticketing standards ensuring appropriate descriptive tickets are
Available
Plan department layouts and execute relevant changes according to promotional calendar
Ensure all supplies for effective running of shop floor are organised
Keep up]to]date with competitor intelligence and market trends
Product knowledge training for shop floor teams
Liase with marketing for promotion
Ensure adherence to health, safety and security procedures
Organises and manages stocktaking for selling floors
Ensure that all cost control targets are met
Adheres to all shop and statutory food hygiene regulations (if applicable)
Adheres to due diligence / follow up from ATC audits (if applicable)
Ensure effective teamwork with buying & merchandising

Educational/training:
Work requires cognitive ,communicative and analytical skills acquired through the completion of a
Bachelorfs Degree
Experience:
Minimum of 5/7 years experience in food retail settings to acquire knowledge of the complex aspects of
Store operations and supervision.
Strong knowledge of Food hygiene needed
Very good with people and able to manage efficiently a large team
SKILLS:
Financially aware and very strong knowledge of Microsoft office for report purpose.
