| Job Description: |
We are seeking for an experienced Project Development Manager for our new deluxe hotel project in Bahrain. The candidate has to be experienced in major hotel developments either in the Middle East or Asia. The ideal candidate will come from a Q.S. / Cost Manager or Contract Manager background and be fully conversant with the F.I.D.I.C. form of contract.
Main duties:
- Control the Project Budget on behalf of the Client
- Monitor the day to day site variations and keep accurate records in the client's interest
- Assist in the main contract tender clarifications / comparison meetings to firm up Subcontractor's award documents / contracts (F.I.D.I.C)
- Liaise with the consultants on design and supervision issues as and when required to
- Identify and expedite direct procurement contracts on behalf of the owners
- Sit in on / hold meetings representing the client as and when required to
- Be experienced in dealing with the Hotel operator's technical team
- Undertake the day to day correspondence with the site supervision team
- Be a team builder
- Be vigilant in the ongoing value engineering thoughout the project without jeopardizing quality and performance |
Skills Required:: |
Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Hotel construction projects
Q.S. / Cost Management / Contract Management experience |
