The Position
Because of their reputation as the leading manufacturer of composites, my client is dedicated not only to supplying top notch quality products, but also having on hand, stellar talent as part of the team. Beacause they are always looking to meet and exceed customer expectations, they are looking to add a talented, quick thinking, team oriented Materials/purchasing Manager. By using his/her extensive knowledge and experience in composites, the Materials Manager will champion the management of Procurement, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control. He/She will oversee the sourcing and procurement of equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services and supplies neccessary for operation. They will also negotiate with vendors, develop new supply sources, compile and analyze statistical data, along with developing and implementing policies and procedures. Are you a good leader as well as a teacher? as mANAGER you will also manage employees in assigned functional areas in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills Required:: |
The best candidate will have all of the following:
>bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline
>recent manufacturing and composite experience (preferrably Aerospace)
>be six sigma and/or Lean certified
>3-5 years in related manufacturing environment
>3-5 years in management role
> CPM certified
