We recorded net sales of 30 billion won in 2006 and 40 billion won in 2007, which represents an annual growth rate of
approximately 30 percent.
The Carlyle Group, one of the biggest private equity funds in the world was the first to recognize TOPIA's remarkable
achievement and strong growth potential.
In April 2007 the global fund announced its proposal to invest 20 million dollars (about 18.6 billion won) in the company.
- working location : Seoul, KOREA
- One year teaching contract (renewable)
- Working Hours: Mon - Fri. 2:30-10:30 PM, 30 classes per week (each class is 50 min)
- Salary : 2.2 ~ 2.5 mil KOR Won (about 2,250 ~ 2,550 USD )
* income tax is only 3.3%
- Housing : A single studio provided (full furnished)
Our apartments come equipped with basic furnishings like a bed, couch, wardrobe, air-conditioner,
washer, microwave, gas range, T.V., dishes, pots and pans, sheets and a pillow, all supplied by Topia
The apartments are within a 5 minute walk of the school
- Health insurance : 50% of the insurance premium will be paid by Topia education
- severance pay : one month salary (on completion of the one year contract term)
- Roundtrip airfare (technically 2 one-way tickets)
- Vacation : 10 days paid vacation in addition to the Korean national holidays
(compensated for unused paid vacation days)
- Over time Work compensation : 23,000 ~ 25,000 KOR Won per class (50 min)
- Training : You shall receive up to one week of training before teaching at the assigned institute
and shall be paid at the rate of 50,000 won for a maximum of eight 8 hours per day during this period

- Minimum BA Degree
- Native English Speaker with a valid passport ( Canada, US, England )
- No criminal records except minor traffic violation
