| Job Description: |
Purpose of Job
- To support major engineering projects materials requirements & availability as set out in BSP business plan, BP05.
- To support material requirements & availability for campaign (maintenance / minor projects).
Accountabilities
- To empart procurement and contracting support to both Major and Minor Projects and drive for own portfolio.
- Responsible for making sure that Procurement Plans are up-to-date, and perform tracking for own portfolio.
- Must be present at all planned coordination meetings with both the Category team leaders and project teams.
-Be able to mediate with TAs & PMCs for procurement input including the delivery of SCM contents and to ensure that all information is updated including all comments.
-To make available updated SODT for own portfolio including latest market/industry information.
-To be able to contribute in the deliverance of the Inventory Management dashboard , such as non-moved project stock, surplus materials, and the likes
- To be able to facilitate preparation and issue of tenders, bid evaluation model preparation and/or concession plans
- Also perform commercial evaluations and to be able to assist in the final proposal for acceptance by Commercial Authority of Fact/Data Sheets including compilation of tender, contractual correspondence and contract documents.
- Ensure that tenderprocess is auditable and is in conformity to Shell Group Business Principles, policy, procedures, BSP business plans and standards.
- Make certain that best practice, ideas, new developments and changing market conditions are taken into consideration and should be accurately reflected into contracting strategies, tenders and contracts.
- Make sure that all US Export Controls and relevant Competition Law are adhered to.
- To provide contribution to scheduled reports and ensure that SCM systems updated.

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications
Required
HND graduate in engineering, business studies or quantity surveying, or equivalent qualifications and/or a minimum 3 years relevant working experience, especially in engineering projects.
Preferred
Competence Required
Experience
- Technical experience in relevant disciplines· An understanding of supply chain management.
- An understanding of legal principles and commercial/contract awareness of industry contracting practices.
Training
- Operate with minimal guidance and supervision.
HSE core responsibilities
- Understanding and commitment to BSP’s HSE Policy, and House Rules.
Special Abilities
- Good communication skills; able to work and communicate with staff from a wide range of technical backgrounds and management levels.
- Practical, good business sense and strong analytical skills.
- Good command of spoken & written English. |
