| Job Description: |
Duties & Responsibilities
* To render contracting & procurement support to both major and minor projects and operations for own portfolio.
* Be able to bring up-to-date Procurement Plans and portfolio tracking.
* Participate all planned organization meetings with both category team leaders and project groups.
* Be able to mediate with TAs & PMCs for procurement input, and to also deliver SCM content and updated information.
* Render up-to-date SODT for own portfolio with up-to-date market information.
* Impart with the deliverance of Inventory Management dashboard
*Be capable of tender issue and groundwork, bid evaluation preparation and concession plans, commercial assessment and assist in final proposal for approval by commercial authority of fact sheets together with compilation of tender, documentation and correspondence.
* Ensure that the tendering process is auditable and conforms to Shell Group Business Principles, BSP business plans, standards, policies and procedures.
* Ensure that best practice, new developments, ideas and changing market conditions are accurately reflected in contracting strategies, tenders and contracts.
* Ensure compliance with US Export Controls and relevant Competition Law.
* Contribute to periodic reports and keep SCM systems up*to*date.
* Ensure implementation and adherence to the BSP HSE management system.

Skills Required:: |
Qualifications
Required
- HND graduate in engineering, business studies or quantity surveying, or equivalent qualifications and/or a minimum 3 years relevant working experience, especially in engineering projects.
Preferred
Competence Required
Experience
- Technical experience in relevant disciplines·
- An understanding of supply chain management.
- An understanding of legal principles and commercial/contract awareness of industry contracting practices.
Training
- Operate with minimal guidance and supervision.
HSE core responsibilities
- Understanding and commitment to BSP’s HSE Policy, and House Rules.
Special Abilities
- Good communication skills; able to work and communicate with staff from a wide range of technical backgrounds and management levels.
- Practical, good business sense and strong analytical skills.
- Good command of spoken & written English. |
