Baker Communications has over 25 highly successful years of experience in providing strategic sales training, management training, sales management training, negotiation training, time management training, and presentation skills. We offer instruction in both an open enrollment format as well as on a private scale. Our training workshops are conducted locally, nationally and internationally. In addition, we are seeking contract trainers and/or consultants to deliver our training material to our clients as well as to help transition our customers from Selling 1.0 to Selling 2.0. Unlike traditional sales training, this service blends the use of web-based tools such as WebEx, Jigsaw, Sales Genius, Salesforce.com and others with integrated sales and marketing processes and skills.
A contract trainer for our organization will be required to:
• Become certified on the six core courses Baker Communications offers its clients.
• Be able to adapt the delivery of the training content in the classroom to meet specific client needs.
• Provide the internal staff with client feedback for class improvements.
• Be willing to adhere to administrative policies and procedures.
• Be able to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Skills Required:: |
Sales 2.0 qualifications and requirements:
• Strong sales and/or marketing background with an understanding of the intersection points between sales and marketing organizations
• Familiar with the Selling 2.0 movement
• A minimum of 3 years consulting, training or related experience
• Strong verbal, written and keen analytical skills
• Highly proficient in MS Office products
• Proficient in analyzing and developing process specific to sales, marketing and business development
• Be able to interface with clients of various skill levels and address participants at all levels within an organization
• Be willing to adhere to administrative policies and procedures
• Proficient in the use of WebEx or similar technology
• Familiar with process and mind mapping software such as
Visio, Mind Manager or other process mapping programs
• Knowledgeable in the use of Apple OSX and related software a plus
• Familiar with the use salesfore.com or similar systems such as Sugar CRM, Siebel, Sales Logix, etc…
• Familiar and accustom to web-cam technology use
• Able to interface with clients on various skill levels and address participants at all levels within an organization
• Experience working with mid-level to C-level
• Able to quickly understand and evaluate new business models and industry practices and processes
• Able to quickly gain an understanding of the client’s situation and the ability to articulate Bakers capabilities and Value Proposition
• Able to generate and present written reports including process maps, narrative, and project plans detailing a recommended path for a client to transition from Selling 1.0 to Selling 2.0
• Become certified on Play Methodology and the RevGen process
• Be able to adapt the delivery of the training content in the classroom to meet specific client needs
• Provide the internal staff with client feedback for class improvements
• Be able to travel approximately 50% to 70% of the time and function effectively in an ever-changing environment
