| Job Description: |
This role is a senior-level position responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring enterprise network and network security infrastructure. The Network Systems and Security Admin analyzes business data flow to/from enterprise systems and designs local and wide-area network architectures that meet throughput and performance requirements. This individual also analyzes network security requirements and implements strategies designed to thwart attacks from a wide variety of sources. The Network System and Security Admin supports all of these systems in a 24/7 environment ensuring that they continually operate safely and at peak performance. Principal Accountabilities: Maintains and supports network and security infrastructure Responsible for network performance Assists in the design of network solutions Analyzes network security issues and makes recommendations Actively monitors network systems for malicious activity and attacks Assists in the development and implementation of network use and security policies and standards Acquire, install, and maintain hardware and software associated with local and wide area networks |
