| Job Description: |
You will apply your engineering skills to assist in improving product reliability through methodical
environmental testing.
Your responsibilities will include to review and to validate environmental qualification test plans, to help create such plans, to organize and supervise test plan execution, to lead failure analysis effort, to approve, distribute and archive test documentation.
You will also work on developing and implementing test specifications for each product type, on investigating accelerated testing methods (HALT, DOE, etc …) and organizing testing conclusions in a knowledge database.
You will interface with the Product Development Team members and Manufacturing engineers, and other Test & Integration engineers, as well as with other Environmental Qualification engineers and technical experts from other Schlumberger Technology Centers, external environmental test facilities and failure analysis labs.
Equipment used to perform the tests includes thermal chambers, vibration tables, data loggers and
other customized machines.
Technical, product development, quality management and business related training will be provided.

| Skills Required: |
Education and Qualifications:
· MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· 0-5 years working experience
· English (working language)
Expertise in one or several of the below domains will be highly appreciated :
· Land seismic operations
· Scientific/technical experimentation and methods
· Mechanical and/or electronics testing
· Certification process
Others :
· Ability to organize and document testing activities
· Team player with open and direct communication style
· Strong computer skills/literacy, especially in data analysis
· Effective oral and written communication skills |
