Great opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking person to join our family run 180+ Holstein Friesian herd calving all-year-round.
An experienced worker with a good humour and happy disposition is required to look after our herd!
You should be computer literate and have a willingness to learn in a different milking environment.
Farm holding of approx 120ha, all dairy, on beautiful south coast of Cornwall milking 180+ cows, twice daily, in modern Westfalia 16/32 parlour, Auto ID, in-parlour/out-of-parlour feeding, TMR.
Working 6day week. Suitable applicant would be rewarded with good remuneration and live-in/ full-board as part of the family in comfortable own room with TV/video, own internet / broadband access etc.
Good spoken English required, and driving licence/ previous tractor work an advantage – AI trained an advantage.
To commence ASAP spring 2008.
