Job Description:
- Directs and coordinate the integration of the Planning and Scheduling and Cost Analysis initiatives for multiple contractors to the China AP 1000 projects.
- Ensure consistent application of Shaw Nuclear Services Projects controls procedure. Provide and maitain a cohesive project schedule
- Esatablish and manage an approved project baseline budget. Provide thorough project schedule and cost performance reporting including performance metrics, analysis, trending and forecasting.
- Will work closely with the Joint Project Management Organization (JPMO) Project Director, the customer and other key project leads to provide Project controls support to meet the objectives of the project.
- Schedule and lead performance review meetings on behalf of the Project Director
- Provide schedule and cost information for corporate and other reports and presentations as required. |
Skills Required:: |
BS Engineering Degree or equivalent
Minimum 10 yrs experience in scheduling and cost engineering of large ($500 million+) EPC projects.
Experience in earned value development, engineering / construction, scheduling and planning using PRIMAVERA 3.1 and 5.0.
- Cost forecasting, scheduling metric development, WBS usage and understanding
- Cost metrics and procedure development, cost control metric development, budget development and monthly budget calculations, cash flow projections
- Tracking / trending deviations and change orders, risk analysis and contingency analysis using MONTE CARLO software
- Productivity and performance calculations |
