| Job Description: |
Technical Support Specialists are part of the customer support chain in the line of contact between Stream and our customers. Working on behalf of our clients the Technical Support Specialist will provide responsive and competent technical support to customers who require help with customer service, product information, or assistance with installation and usage of hardware or software application as required by the needs of each specific product line. This support is normally provided by telephone although it is increasingly being provided through electronic means, like Internet, Email.
Requirements for the role are:
* Native speaker in one of the following : Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch
* Good working knowledge and understanding of English
* Excellent writing skills, due to the level of e-mail correspondence
* Strong team-oriented focus
* Ability to impart knowledge at various levels
* Aptitude for quick learning of technical and procedural topics
* Self starting, self motivating and self learning work approach
* Ability to coordinate multiple, dissimilar activities simultaneously
Preferences (not required but would be a benefit):
* Working knowledge of hardware, software and networking
* Expertise with all relevant operating systems, including Windows and Macintosh
* Previous call centre experience (inbound)
* Stress resistance
* Experience in providing customer support
* Experience in providing users support.
