| Job Description: |
Performs general laboratory functions such as sample collection, sample log-in, glassware washing, autoclaving, media preparation, sample/waste disposal, inventory control and similar duties. Develop basic analytical methods, participate in inventory database development. Works with Pilot Plant scale bioreactors with SIP/CIP operations. Performs cell culture scale-up of products in shake flasks. Capable of making media/buffers which will be used in a GMP environment. Works under direct supervision of Senior Manufacturing Associate or area supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must possess B.A.
Experience with Cell Culture Fermentation
Experience with Pilot Plant
Capable of making Media/buffers
Proficient with Excel, Powerpoint, Windows experience
Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
