| Job Description: |
- Supervises the preparation of, reviews and endorses bid analyses and recommendations for procurement of equipment material and services.
- Manages the flow of information required from third parties to assure the timely progress of the work
- Functions as the Manager of MEGA projects. Communicates and liaises with the Employer, Engineer and governmental bodies, contractor’s and sub contractor’s management representatives to solve main issues related to project execution, performance and progress through all phases of the project until completion.
- Identify all risks; which may cause any cost or time impact on the project and report to project sponsor the relevant plans to mitigate risks.
- Directs the development of schedules, cost estimates and budgets for the project. Reviews and recommends the same for management endorsement/ approval. Controls and monitors the implementation of the total budget, schedule and quality at various stages of the project execution to ensure adherence to the overall approved plan.
- Establishes organization for the project, including manpower utilization and mobilization. Leads, motivates, reviews and monitors the performance of the teams staffed with specialists within the Contracting Division to ensure the effective implementation of the agreed plan.
- Provides professional expertise in the selection of potential sub contractors and suppliers with particular emphasis on their pre-qualification, bid evaluation, etc. and site management in relation to site arrangements, overall logistics, etc.
