Position Summary
We are seeking to hire a full–time Programmer Analyst to actively participate in the development and ongoing support of our business applications, including Order Management, Provisioning, CRM, Billing and Financial systems. This person will perform analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and implementation of new applications, as well as, enhancements to existing applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Understand business and functional requirements, and design or configure applications to meet these requirements.
Perform technical analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and implementation of new and existing business applications.
Provide on–going programming support to production systems.
Maintain ?best practice? standards and follow department–wide systems–development methodology.
Participate in projects with other team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Minimum two (2) years of programming experience.
Solid understanding and good working knowledge of Java, Unix Korn–shell scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, and Web services.
Business applications and telecommunications industry experience preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
Good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with business users and other team members.
Adequate communication and presentation skills.
