high end luxury womens brand has created a new position for a Merchandise Planner / Stock controller
The position covers UK and Europe, and offers a really exciting opportunity to join a prestigious and well positioned brand.
The successful candidate must have 2-3 years experience gained in the merchandise / planning dept of a luxury retailer / dept store.
You must be proactive in setting up new processes and making the role your own. In addition it is absolutely essential that you are fashion conscious with an eye for trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly reconciliation between Retail & Financial stock reporting systems for the UK and Europe.
Preparation of additional month end stock reports for the Finance Dept.
Stock takes (stores & warehouses)
Development of standardised stock control procedures across UK & Europe.
Liaison with production planning dept and monitoring of stock delivery schedule by collection by store.
End of season reconciliation
Pre season allocation planning of stock deliveries / ex factory shipping
The right candidate will have experience of working in a retail environment (preferably a luxury brand) and have advanced IT skills particularly in Excel.
