| Job Description: |
This leading Organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant.
The Accountant is responsible for managing the General Ledger accounting and reporting system. S/he ensures the implementation of administrative, accounting and financial rules and regulations, to best account; governs and controls the budget and expenditures; and meet other needs of the management.
Successful Candidate will hold:
• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a health care setting.
• Knowledge of standard accounts policies, procedures, regulations and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to utilize an automated accounting system.
• Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other requests for payment.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Team player.
• Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
