| Job Description: |
The branch manger will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a store, and aim to improve the commercial performance. This may involve:
Sales:
-Making sure that the store reaches sales targets and increases profits.
- Ensuring that goods are displayed correctly.
Customer service
without customers there would be no sales.
- Responsible for attracting and keeping their customers,
- Make sure that their staff maintains a high level of customer service.
- You have to deal with individual queries, from questions about store cards to complaints about purchases. This area also includes dealing with health and safety and security issues.
Staff management:
- Interviewing,recruiting and organizing training.
Stock control:
- Making sure that supplies are re-ordered in time and that stock is of the right quality. .
Non-selling operational tasks:
- Housekeeping, merchandising, transfers, and receiving;
- Follow all corporate policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance
- Set goals for employee skills development
