a leading game developer and distributor in NYC, is looking for an
experienced programmer to develop online multiplayer games in Flash.
Requirements
Solid object-oriented programming skills and previous Flash experience is
required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software design,
experience developing real-time applications (preferably games), and the ability
to develop in Flash.
You must be a talented, creative programmer with good organization skills who is
motivated to meet tight deadlines. You will work in small teams with artists,
managers and designers; good communication skills and team work are
necessary.
Some of your tasks might include developing a simple physics engine, creating
basic artificial intelligence, and developing real-time multiplayer games built on a
client-server architecture.
