General Objectives of the Job
To be responsible for the management of business in designated countries in Southeast Asia Pacific.
To develop a network of distributors for the products to maximise sales and profitability.
To implement short, medium and long term Business strategies.
To Integrate future acquired companies and brands and rationalise the sales and Distribution of all Inverness Medical products
To assist the strategic development and growth, in sales and profitability of the Medical business in the Asia Pacific Region
Fields of Responsibility
To manage partners to maximise sales and profits by country/region.
To develop sales and marketing plans together with partners to achieve defined sales and profit goals.
To provide field based support to our partners and customers to assist the growth of our product sales.
To be responsible for the implementation and follow up of defined marketing and sales activities at each country level.
To ensure the business unit is fully up to date with International market trends and competitive activities.
To constantly assess our distribution channels strengths and weaknesses and recommend and implement appropriate changes.
To prepare, agree and implement an annual business plan for all countries within the defined geographic territories.
To assess new or current product opportunities and feed this information back to the Business/New product development team.
To perform necessary markets research to identify business/consumer trends in the territory.
To launch new and improved products into the countries within the territory in a manner agreed with the company and our partners.
To integrate new acquired businesses and brands and develop appropriate sales and marketing plans to grow them. Evaluate synergies to maximise sales and profitability
Contacts
The job holder will communicate with staff at all levels on a daily basis. Regular contact with our Distribution partners will be paramount to success.
The ability to work with Academic Key Opinion Leaders is essential |
