| Job Description: |
Purpose of Job
- To assist the contract manager with the management of HSE on site.
- To be the main site contact point for projects for all BSP Health, Safety and Environmental issues
- To provide direction, guidance, and support on projects HSE issues on site.
- Interpretation, application, and compliance with HSE standards & legislation;
- Effective use of risk management (HEMP) tools including JHA
- Coordinate site communications, including input to toolbox meetingso Collate and report site HSE statistics
Principal accountabilities
- Oversight of MPN and contractor HSE plans on site
- Coordinate management site visits
- Organise and lead site process audits (eg electrical, working at height, lifting)
- Provide BSP input to toolbox meetings
- Roll-out Group, BSP and MPM material and initiatives on site
- Collate and report HSE statistics
- Coordinate incident and near miss investigations
- Coordinate and follow-up health risk assessment/health management plans on site
- Oversee ISO14001 related activities on site

Competence Required
Experience
- Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in construction site HSE (safety) management; preferably including experience in a Shell-operated environmentA previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with project teams / contractors will be an advantage
Training
