The Position:
- Project designer on selected projects.
- Establish and communicate high and appropriate design standards within the studio.
- Ensure an appropriate balance of the studio's design talent among all projects that the studio undertakes.
- Select qualified designers to meet the studio's design needs and workload.
- Advance the firms objective to achieve integrated design solutions.
- Advocate and lead by example the realization of sustainable design.
- Insure all design solutions realize meaningful content.
- Participate in the professional evolution of designers at all levels in the studio by assisting in their career path development and by providing one-on-one mentoring.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a benefits package and significant bonus opportunity. |
| Skills Required: |
- Minimum Bachelors degree in architecture required.
- 15+ years design experience in commercial, large-scale mixed-use and residential projects.
- Advanced knowledge of China’s architectural industry and projects.
- Strong conceptualization and collaborative skills.
- Preferred Skills: AutoCAD and/or Microstation, Advanced 3D Max, FormZ, and/or Sketch-up skills, building physical models. |
