| Job Description: |
Scope;
Plans, designs, construct and supervise the civil engineering works at the project site. Ensures adequate, efficient technical support and is responsible for quality management, manpower planning, budgeting and financial control.
Role :
Leads and supervises a team for developing and implementing the civil construction strategy at the project site.
Supervise the team and is responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, defining technical support that is required for completion of all civil construction activities at the project site.
Identify overall scope of work in conjunction with the Construction Manager that needs to be carried out by the Civil department at the project site.
Responsible for procuring updated drawings and specifications from the Engineering Department and Document Control for issuing it to the Civil Supervisors for further action.
Undertakes daily site visits to check for adherence safety norms and educate employees on the same.
Ensures that all quality norms as laid down in the Service Level Agreement are adhered to for all civil construction as laid down in the scope of work.
Ensure proper deployment and redeployment of resources for timely completion of all civil construction work as has been laid down in the scope of work.
Ensuring that quality and quantity of material/equipments is as agreed in the Service Level Agreement and within the project specifications.
Identify loopholes and suggest all corrective measures that are required to attend to any potential problems that may arise in context with the civil construction activities at the project site.
Carry out any other duties as and when directed by the supervisor.
