Purpose of Job
- To carry out commissioning activities for the project teams of all BSP Major Projects, carried out in the MCY Yard as well as onshore and offshore locations thereby ensuring a safe and timely start up of the new facilities in line with Company standards and specifications.
Principal accountabilities
- Carry out the commissioning activities for major projects in onshore locations.
- Preparation of commissioning workpacks to ensure a smooth commissioning and start up of the facilities.
- Support the project teams in preparation for construction and commissioning.
- Support the project teams in plans for Flawless Project Delivery.
- To monitor the fabrication activities and provide guide and steer to the fabrication team to ensure that systems are completed in logical order and in time for a smooth commissioning period and quick start up.
- Feedback of commissioning and operational learnings into the project teams.

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years (preferably 10) experience in the field of construction, commissioning, and supervising a multi-discipline work force engaged in oil and gas facilities.
Preferred
HND (electrical/instrumentation/mechanical) or equivalent
Competence Required
Experience
Has proven interpersonal skills associated with managing a (offshore) construction work force. Knowledge on operations, commissioning, fabrication standards, procedures and QA/QC.
