Lead Preschool Teacher sought to work in a great progressive childcare
center
The Cooperative Children’s Center is now accepting applications for a lead teacher for our
4/5 year old classroom.
We are a Cooperative NAEYC accredited childcare center that values teachers
and the amazing work that you do!!
* We are looking for qualified, passionate people who truly feel
inspired by the work that they do with children. We are an emergent
curriculum anti-biased center and so potential candidates must have
experience implementing child directed, inclusive curriculum. And must be
willing to reflect and dialog about their biases. Candidates must have 2
plus years teaching in an accredited or similar center and must have an
Early Childhood degree, CDA or bachelors in Human Development with ECE
specialization. In order for our teachers to meet all parents and to have an
equitable division of work, all staff members must be able to work rotating
shifts , 7-3 , 8:30-4:30,and 10-6:15. Must be able to communicate in both
written and oral format. Writing weekly parent emails required. Must be
able to bend down and lift 25-30 pounds repeatedly must be able to take
walks and go outdoors each day. We are looking for teachers who are
comfortable with ongoing feedback on their performance, and can communicate
in an honest straightforward manner.

Pay range is $12.00-$15.00 per hour DOE and Education.
