General Summary:
An Int'l Outside Sales Person for India will relocate to India for 2-3 years to create and develop new businesses with customers/endusers in connection and conjunction with our Indian distributor in India by meeting and exceeding sales targets or goals for India in addition to the distributor's efforts.
Duties And Responsibilities:
·develop new businesses with endusers for all our products with or without distributor's assistance.
·Visit customers (approximately three to four days out of the week) to create sales (i.E. By presenting necessary information such as but not limited to technical information with regards to chromatography related products and services or quotations ) to the customers in a professional manner.
·Originate phone calls, respond to incoming calls and provide technical information with regards to chromatography related products and services.
·Provide on-site or at distributor’s offices product demonstrations and/or technical seminars.
·Attend local tradeshows and company sponsored vendor shows.
·Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
·Develop business plans, market analysis and sales strategies for assigned territory.
·Provide sales training to distributor’s sales staff.
·Manage and maintain information in the customer database system.
·Organize and conduct training to our distributor's staff
·Provide feedback on our marketing efforts.
·Report market intelligence information and distributor's activities to the supervisor
·Have a positive attitude, be a team player and strive to learn and contribute to the company culture.
·Performs other job-related duties as requested.

Skills Required:: |
Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
·bachelors Degree in Life Science required.
·Extremely strong presentation and communication skills
·Strong analytical thinking and presenting ideas
·Experience in Microsoft office and Database Management
·Extremely skilled in the art of negotiation
·Strong organizational and planning skills
·Minimum 2.00 years of experience in technical sales
·Must have a good all around knowledge (product and technical) of all our products
·Must be proficient in both written and verbal English
·Must be a self-motivator and have great ability to motivate others (distributor and their staff)
·Local language skills are helpful but not required
·Must be able appreciate and respect different culture and adapt to the local conditions.
·Must be in excellent health, a self starter and able to work diligently unsupervised
·Valid passport required and must be able to travel internationally
Travel:
·extensive local traveling (up to 75%)

·salary: Dependent on the individual’s skill and experience level, but overall an improvement on one’s total income.
·Housing: Company will provide up to a 2-3 Bedroom apartment or house depending on the person's requirement .
·Transportation: 3 round trips to a home office country for 1-2 person(s) per year (These tickets are transferable, and if the employee does not use it, he/she can give it to his/her friend, family members or any person of his/her choice.)
·Expenses: Company will reimburse all business related local (or international) travel expenses with receipts
·Insurance: Company will provide standard health insurance for the employee and his/her immediate family member(s) including Emergency Health Evacuation program.
·Holidays are based on the local Indian calendar
·Vacations and sick days are based on the Phenomenex company policy
·If necessary, company may provide a car (whatever may be norm)
