The person will be responsible for coordinating and managing the integration of multiorganizational
costs for a major international nuclear power plant project. There are multiple
engineering, procurement and construction organizations involved with separate contracts.
Construction involves multiple units at two different sites. Candidate focus needs to be on the
following:
• Implements programs to oversee and monitor progress and success during the execution
of the project.
• Monitors activities to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensures that major cost items are identified and trended.
• Procedures development for estimation, commitment and cost system integration
• Cost Codification for trending
• Cost Codification for Procurement
• Cost Codification for Sub contracts
• Cost Codification for Staffing and expenses / indirect
• Cost system integration / control accounts development in the system for procurement,
contracts, staffing/ indirect
• Auditing and correcting accounting data, Import into cost system
• Auditing and correcting commitment data, import into system
• Managing data base for current budgets
• Managing data base for forecast cost
• Managing data base for ETC
• Correlating spread sheets and coordinates with all cost engineers for data integrity and
input in system
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• B. S. degree, Engineering degree and / or 5 years minimum experience in same type of
position
• Experience with costs systems used for major international EPC contracts, a minimum 10
years relevant
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• WBS understanding and application for large data base
• Understand cost trend program for input of data in cost system
• Experience in developing cost metrics from cost system data
• Experience in cost system integration data bases for large projects ($300 Million and
above)
