Our client have an urgent vacancy for a Cognos Developer for a 2-3 month contract outside Belfast.
Experience of implementing Cognos Projects that span the full project lifecycle from user requirements gathering, analysis and database design to implementation required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for technical design and development to create a reporting solution across multiple platforms.
Experience in some or all of the following:
Cognos Impromtu and POwerPlay (or similar OLAP and reporting tool)
Sybase, Oracle, DB2, Informix
ETL Tools
Operating Systems (NT, UNIX)
Warehousing tools: Cognos, Business Objects
ODBC
