RISE is a nonprofit organization that specializes in home and community-based support services for children and adults with developmental and other disabilities, children with mental health challenges, and aging adults. Our services are as varied as the people we support. RISE has a network of hundreds of Direct Support Professionals working with people with disabilities and their families to help create and sustain the lives they want to live in their homes, families, and in the community. This includes supporting people in daily living activities, providing companionship, accompanying them to community events, teaching them skills, perhaps supporting or customizing employment, foster parenting, perhaps supporting or customizing employment, and much more.
The Team Leader is responsible for the management of the residential supports through the implementation of the RISE mission, vision and values and in compliance with all regulations and policies.
Reports To: Director of Residential Programs
Location: West Valley- Residential Setting
Salary: $30k
Essential Job Functions:
•provide management and support in a manner that meets and exceeds the expectation of RISE customers.
•Responsible to recruit, hire, coach, train, and discipline direct support professionals.
•Assures that supports meet expectations of all policies and procedures.
•Complies with all DES/DDD and other relevant licensing requirements
•Maintain necessary records, logs, and other documentation as required by the planning teams, RISE, and the state.
•Attend all staff meetings and other mandatory training as required.

| Skills Required: |
Minimum Qualifications:
•experience of at least two (2) years supervising staff and experience working in a related field.
•Knowledge of DDD is a plus
•Must be at least 21 years of age
•Candidate must pass background clearance. |
