| Job Description: |
Work with hosting provider to build, maintain and support infrastructure services, including hardware/software maintenance and upgrades, and the management of web and application technologies.
Skills
1. Competent with web-based and J2EE Internet facing E-commerce architecture. (e.g. Apache, BEA WebLogic, ATG Dynamo, iPlanet, Vignette Portal).
2. Strong shell programming (Perl, Bourne shell, awk, sed). Prefer Java programming expertise.
3. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
4. Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and integrate three-tiered web-based systems
5. Intermediate to advance UNIX environment and
6. Strong understanding of Internet technologies including firewalls, load balancers, TCPIP, DNS, and Akamai technologies.
7. Ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic business and technical environment.
8. Ability to support working outside of normal business hours.
9. Experience with SQL in an Oracle environment is preferred.
10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
11. Five years of professional experience in IT, Business, or related field is preferred.
12. Three years experience with UNIX system analysis and administration.
