| Job Description: |
Purpose of Job
1. Logistics support to the Well Delivery Team wrt ensuring continuation of daily activities, responsible for preparing forecasts for yearly TSW requirements as input in the Company’s Logistics and Transportation Resources Forecast. This covers requirement forecasts for Supply boats, area boats, helicopters, land transport and barge (helideck lifts).
2. Single point responsibility within the Well Engineering department in monitoring and reducing costs associated with Well Engineering logistics and offshore well access facilitation activities (well tie-in, CPRA preparations, platform access, rig moves, helideck lifts etc.)
3. Promoting and supporting use of software packages such as LOGOS on the rigs and with the service contractors, to improve the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Principal accountabilities
Co-ordinates the follow-up and close-out of “logistics support” related action points resulting from near miss and incident reports and HSE visits and audits.
Encourages logistics support staff in hazard awareness and risk assessment, generation of hazard, near miss and incident reports, by continuous attention and communication.
Represents TSW in SMR’s and STL’s monthly safety meetings.
Project co-ordinator within the TSW department for the preparation of offshore platforms/jackets prior to rig arrival.
Monitors progress and closeout of platform integrity checks prior to rig arrival and well tie-in preparations.
Provides cost effective and innovative solutions to the continuous improvement of inter departmental activities affecting the well delivery process.
Monitors and challenges existing operating practices and cost structures, gets common support from stakeholders for proposed challenges and drives proposed changes to implementation.
Facilitates the logistics processes for Well Engineering operations.
Is the process custodian within the Well Engineering Group, continuously monitoring and improving the supply chain from and to the rigs, designing, implementing and monitoring KPI’s.
Amalgamate the different logistics support activities (within TSW) into one centralized bringing it in line with business service unit focus. Ensure effectiveness / relevance of the logistics support & liaison team to the operations & wellsite teams.
Continuously collects data wrt NPT (Non Productive Time) in order to justify further improvements.
Closely liases with the supervisors of BSP’s warehouses and wharfs at Muara and Kuala Belait.

HND or University Degree
Competence Required
Experience
Minimum 8 years experience in Well Engineering, Production Operations or Services function in positions, which require a significant amount of inter-department networking/contacts. Some knowledge of drilling technical terms and good knowledge of, and network in Brunei Shell Operations and Services Organisations.
Training
Incumbent will need to be prepared to obtain offshore survival and helicopter underwater training certificates and be prepared to spend some nights offshore. The job will include travelling to offshore platforms / drilling installations.
Special Abilities
Computer literacy: knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, LOGOS etc.
To be proactive and able to work independently, cope under pressure and meet deadlines.
