Purpose of Job
To ensure that Instrument maintenance plans are carried out on all surface facilities within the area of responsibility. All instrument related to safety and environment equipment and systems are properly maintained and are in good working order.
To manage, schedule, execute and report Instrument maintenance activities carried out on the designated location assets, in particular with regards to meeting production targets, flare/vent emergency and asset integrity. To support projects as and when required.
Principal accountabilities
To maintain and improve reliability and availability of static equipment to allow maximum oil/gas production whilst keeping the effect to HSE ALARP.
Meet agreed Health Safety and Environmental Targets and to execute EOP/121 Instrument actions detailed in the asset unit HSE Plan. Execute activities in line with asset HSE cases and ISO14001 and Technical Audit requirements.
Execute Instrument maintenance for all assets under EOP1 control to safeguard integrity of production facilities. Develop an integrity culture amongst Instrument staff.
Maintain Instrument equipment in line with AU operating philosophies. Execute Instrument activities in line with 90 Day planning meeting/ Integrated Production Planning meetings.
Define and agree field operations TAS/SSS Tasks and Targets including Staff Development plans. Adhere to at least bi-annual Instrument staff appraisals.
Ensure Instrument maintenance staff is familiar and properly trained with applied new technology.
Support EOP/1X in preparation to audits in line with the AU audit programmed as required related to Instrument.

Skills Required:: |
Experience
5 years in Instrument Field and handling staff.
Training
Special Abilities
PTW/4 Worksite Supervisor
Core computing programmes including Word for Windows, Excel.
Core databases access and use e.G. MAIS, EMA, DCS, IPS
Supplementary database access and use e.G. Scheduled plans, FSR
High drive, and ability to work independent
Work in a Multi-discipline team
