Job Purpose Statement:
To make a real difference to risk management and control by working in partnership with Audit’s stakeholders, providing advice, challenge and expertise and ensuring that issues are escalated to an appropriate level and resolved in a timely manner.
Provide an independent audit service to Audit’s stakeholders, which applies professional audit practices and principles in order to form an opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management and control processes and procedures
Principal Accountabilities:
1-Provide a first class audit service to stakeholders through the assessment of risk and the evaluation of control processes and procedures, identifying risks and issues and developing solutions in partnership with the business.
2-Promote the continuous improvement of risk management and control processes throughout the Bank through the development of ongoing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that issues are identified and escalated as appropriate, and resolved.
3-Share and communicate with colleagues “best practices” and key learning.
4-Contribute to the overall Audit opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment within the Bank.
5-Participate effectively in audit teams, managing own workload and deliverables, ensuring all objectives are achieved.
6-Manage own learning and development, demonstrating improvements in technical, interpersonal and managerial skills and in business awareness, and encourage colleagues to adopt similar standards.
7-Ensure audit work is reliable and in accordance with the direction set by the Team Leader and conforms fully to the audit process and quality standards.
8-The Job holder is obliged to abide by any instructions furnished by his Manager with respect to the scope of work.

| Skills Required: |
•Good interpersonal, organizational, analytical and report writing skills.
•Planning skills sufficient to coordinate objectives for a variety of assignments or projects, which are generally non-routine in nature.• Good presentation skills to articulate complex information/ideas relating to strategic and tactical issues.
•Creativity skills necessary to solve problems and/or identify innovative alternatives or opportunities where established procedures sometimes do not exist
