Objectives:
This position is accountable for performing subcontract functions and works in order for the Subcontract Manager to report to the Construction Manager on the implementation of the construction subcontract works based on "Subcontract Plan and Procedures" for the project.
Major Duties And End Results:
All the works done by the incumbent is under the supervision of the Subcontract Manager with his instruction and guidance.
1. Check or prepare the following reports monthly;
- "Progress Report" prepared by subcontractors
- "Payment Control Report" for checking payment to
Subcontractors
- "Subcontract Status Report" submitted to the Schedule
Controller
2. Perform works related with "Change Order" such as examination of "Field Change Sheet", evaluation, clarification and negotiation of "Change Order Proposals" and dispatch of "Change Order" for the changes.
3. Survey and negotiate with local subcontractors for subcontract works at site and prepare such subcontracts.
4. Participate in the resolution of contractual claims with subcontractors by doing interpretation of contracts and helping communication works of the Construction Section at site.
5. Check invoices and attached documents from subcontractors based on the "Progress Report".
6. Make the following reports and documents at the final stage of the project.
- "Subcontract Account Finalization"
- "Contract Completion Formalities"
- "Subcontract Status Report"
7. Perform, other than all the above, whatever duties entrusted by the Subcontract Manager in respect of the construction subcontract work.
